Bytemark can host your Cloud Servers or Dedicated Servers in one of two zones, York or Manchester:
- York, in our wholly-owned YO26 data centre, or
- Manchester, at Delta House.
Cloud servers cannot be moved between zones, but Dedicated Servers can be moved if you contact support and are able to schedule some down time with our team.
If you are looking to build high-availability services, we would recommend using duplicate services in both zones, otherwise we would recommend using York only.
You can tell where your Cloud Servers are located by looking in the ‘Info’ tab for your server in the Bytemark Panel.
We are able to provide private networks only within a zone, so that you are able to mix Dedicated Servers and Cloud Servers together.
